  • Savannah Park is extremely central with Gateway Theatre of Shopping and Park Square within walking distance. Cornubia Mall and the Crescent are also within a short driving distance.
  • The closest hospital to Savannah Park is Busamed Gateway Private Hospital. There are a number of private medical practices within the area which you can frequent.
  • Umhlanga is a hub of commercial activity and you can find many office parks within close proximity to Savannah Park
  • For education, schools within the area include Atholton Primary, Crawford International School and Vega School for tertiary students.
What security measures are in place for the protection of residents?

Savannah Park benefits from triple-tier security. The estate has 24-hour security and a manned gatehouse. Savannah Park is a member of the Umhlanga Ridge Town Centre Management Association which ensures streets are safe and patrolled with vehicles round the clock. Within the precinct you are able to walk freely, potholes are fixed and street lights are always on.

How is the residential property ownership managed?

A Body Corporate will be formed once transfers have taken place. Currently rental management is conducted by our in-house rental management service. 

How many apartments are in Savannah Park?

We have 177 apartments ranging from 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom; 2-bedroom,1-bathroom and 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom

When will my apartment be ready to occupy?

Our units are fully built. You or your tenant will be able to move in once transfers take place and the developer communicates that occupation is available.

How much is the levy and when is the first payment due?

The levy is as follows:

1-bedroom, 1-bathroom from R1 000

2-bedroom,1-bathroom from R1 300

2-bedroom, 2-bathroom from R1 500

The first levy payment is due upon occupation of the unit.

Who is responsible for electricity, water and property rate payments?

The owner of the unit is responsible for water and rate payments. Prepaid electricity is used in each unit.

is there storage facilities?

Storerooms can be purchased at R 34500. There is limited availability

Will I be allowed to rent out my property?

Yes, Savannah Park apartments enjoy a high rental demand. You can rent out your unit or use our bespoke in-house rental management service.

Are pets allowed?

No, pets are not allowed.

Will my domestic worker be able to reside at the development? Will there be living facilities for staff?

No, this will not be available.

Can I use my own architect for amendments to my apartment?

Yes, subject to the rules and approval of the Body Corporate, owners can make amendments to the interior of their unit (but not of a structural nature) using their preferred architect.

As an owner, will I have access to all the facilities?

All owners who reside within the estate will have access to the estate facilities.

Can I use the facilities when my property is being rented out?

Unfortunately, if you do not reside within Savannah Park, you may not use the facilities.

Will there be air-conditioning in the residential units, or will I be able to install my own?

Air-conditioning can be installed by the owner of each unit, subject to the rules and approval of the Body Corporate.

Where can my guests park within the residential opportunities?

There is visitors parking within the estate. The security guards will direct your visitors to the appropriate parking bays.

How many parking bays do I get and can I purchase additional bays?

Each apartment is designated 1 parking bay. Additional parking is available from R120 000 per bay.

How do I get internet connection, telephone connection and satellite?

Connection points are available within your unit.
